When a pipe bursts or the sewer backs up in the middle of the night, you need someone you can actually count on. Majestic Plumbing & Electric has been the dependable choice for Woodstock homeowners and facility managers since 2005. We handle everything from minor water line leaks to complete sewer line replacements, making sure your property stays safe and dry. Our highly trained technicians arrive fast, diagnose the problem clearly, and fix what is broken without the runaround. You get the expertise of two trades under one roof, backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.

Common Sewer Line Problems Homeowners Face

Underground pipes face constant pressure from soil, weather, and age, leading to several common issues that require professional attention.

Tree Root Intrusion in Sewer Pipes

Tree roots naturally seek out the moisture and nutrients inside sewer lines. They find their way through tiny cracks or loose joints in older pipes. Once inside, the roots expand and catch debris, which eventually causes a complete blockage.

Cracked or Collapsed Sewer Lines

Ground shifting, freezing temperatures, and heavy surface traffic can cause underground pipes to crack or collapse. Older clay or cast iron pipes are especially vulnerable to this type of structural failure. When a pipe collapses, wastewater cannot flow to the municipal sewer, resulting in immediate backups.

Sewer Line Blockages and Backups

Everyday items like grease, paper towels, and flushable wipes often accumulate inside the sewer line. Over time, this buildup restricts water flow and creates stubborn blockages. Standard plunging will not clear these deep clogs; they require professional snaking or hydro jetting.

Aging or Corroded Underground Pipes

Many older homes in Woodstock still rely on original plumbing materials that deteriorate over decades. Cast iron pipes rust from the inside out, while clay pipes become brittle and prone to breaking. As these materials degrade, they often require partial or complete replacement to restore proper function.

Signs You Need Sewer Line Repair

Sewer problems rarely happen overnight, and catching the early warning signs can save you from a messy emergency.

Frequent Drain Backups in Your Home

If multiple fixtures back up at the same time, the problem is likely in your main sewer line rather than a single localized drain. You might notice water backing up into the bathtub when you flush the toilet or run the washing machine.

Sewage Odors Around Your Property

A healthy plumbing system keeps sewer gases safely contained and vented outside. If you smell raw sewage in your basement, bathrooms, or yard, there is likely a crack or break in the line allowing gas to escape.

Slow Drains Throughout the House

Water should drain quickly and smoothly from sinks, showers, and tubs. When every drain in the house runs slowly, it indicates a growing restriction in the main sewer pipe that needs to be cleared before it becomes a total blockage.

Wet or Soggy Spots in the Yard

Leaking sewer lines release wastewater into the surrounding soil, creating unusually lush patches of grass or soggy areas in your lawn. You might also notice indentations or sinkholes forming along the path of the buried pipe. sewer and water line services woodstock

Comprehensive Sewer and Water Line Solutions in Woodstock, GA

We provide a full range of underground plumbing services to keep your home or business running smoothly.

Sewer Line Inspection With Camera Technology

We run a high-resolution camera through the line to pinpoint exactly where the blockage or damage is located. This takes the guesswork out of diagnosis, so we fix what is broken and leave everything else alone.

Sewer Line Repair and Replacement

When a section of pipe is damaged beyond repair, we carefully excavate the area to remove the broken segment. We install durable new piping and ensure all connections are secure and code-compliant.

Trenchless Sewer Line Repair Options

For properties where traditional excavation would destroy valuable landscaping or driveways, we offer trenchless repair methods. This approach allows us to rehabilitate the existing pipe from the inside, saving time and minimizing disruption.

Water Line Installation and Upgrades

Whether you are building a new home or upgrading an undersized system, we install high-quality water supply lines. We ensure proper sizing and pressure to meet the demands of your household fixtures and appliances.

Service Line Repair for Residential Properties

The main water line connecting your home to the municipal supply is your responsibility to maintain. We quickly locate and repair leaks in this service line to restore your water pressure and prevent property damage.

Main Water Line Leak Searches

Hidden water leaks can erode your foundation and cause your water bill to skyrocket. We use advanced acoustic and thermal equipment to pinpoint the exact location of underground leaks without unnecessary digging.

Water Pressure Issues from Damaged Lines

A sudden drop in water pressure often points to a leak or mineral buildup in the main supply line. We identify the cause of the pressure loss and implement the right solution to get your water flowing strongly again.

Underground Water Line Repairs

Repairing buried water lines requires precision and the right equipment to handle Georgia’s soil conditions. We safely access the damaged pipe, make the necessary repairs, and restore the area as closely as possible to its original state.

Complete Water Line Replacement

When an old water line is severely corroded or repeatedly leaking, a full replacement is the most cost-effective long-term solution. We install modern, durable piping materials that will provide decades of reliable service.

Our Sewer and Water Line Repair Process

We believe in transparency and clear communication from the moment you call us until the job is done.

Initial Inspection and Plumbing Diagnosis

Our technician arrives promptly, listens to your concerns, and performs a thorough visual inspection of the affected areas. We assess the symptoms to determine the most likely cause of the problem before recommending any invasive procedures.

Sewer Camera Inspection and Leak Detection

To confirm the diagnosis, we use specialized cameras or leak search equipment to inspect the interior of the pipes. This allows us to show you exactly what is happening underground and explain the severity of the issue.

Repair or Replacement Recommendations

Based on the inspection results, we provide clear, straightforward options for resolving the problem. We explain the pros and cons of repair versus replacement and offer upfront pricing so you can make an informed decision.

Professional Excavation or Trenchless Repair

Once you approve the work, our team executes the repair using the most appropriate method for your property. We work efficiently to minimize downtime and take care to protect your home and landscaping throughout the process.

Final System Testing and Restoration

After the repair is complete, we pressure-test the lines and verify that everything is flowing correctly. We then backfill any excavated areas and clean up the workspace, leaving your property neat and tidy.

I have used Majestic Plumbing and Electrical several times in the past, which is why I called them again. Their service tech, Michael, arrived within the assigned time, assessed the plumbing problem and gave me different options to consider. Some of the plumbing in this condo is 50 years old, so it certainly presented some challenges. Michael kept me informed on the work that was needed and completed the work that day. I feel the cost was reasonable, especially for the amount of work that was performed. Highly recommend them and will use them again, when needed.

Eric was so helpful to us when our sump pump stopped working on a weekend. He tried to find the parts that weekend and when he wasn't able to he made sure we were first on the list Monday. We've used Majestic Plumbing for a water heater and new shut off valves in our kitchen as well and both of those experiences were very good as well. Quality work and reasonable prices. Highly recommend! 7/6/26 update: we used Majestic Plumbing yet again to repair a faucet as well as for a pipe repair. Jose did a great job addressing both issues and quickly got both issues fixed.

We had a bathtub faucet that wouldn’t turn off! Majestic worked me into their schedule and soon Eryk arrived to fix the issue. He knew exactly what to look for and took all the right precautions before starting work. He had the replacement part on his truck and in under an hour my house was back to normal. I can’t thank Eryk and Majestic enough for the quick professional work.
